Pay Basis: $12.00 hourly Reports To: Transit Director

Hours: M-F (8:00am – 4:00pm) Location: Chilton County Transit Office

General Summary

The Chilton County Commission is seeking qualified individuals to fill a Part time and Full

Time Driver vacancy for Chilton County Transit. Under the direct supervision of the Transit

Director & Dispatcher, the Transit Bus Driver, is responsible for operating buses in a safe and

efficient manner and is responsible for transporting people from one place to another for work,

errands, school, or other reasons. Takes fares from passengers, issues receipts, announces routes,

and ensures passengers get out safely.
